Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician Location unspecified. This role involves providing specialized assistance within a fast-paced interventional radiology department, supporting a variety of minimally invasive procedures. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in interventional radiology, neuro, or related areas, with strong procedural skills and the ability to float within the scope of practice.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: MD state license, ARRT-R certification, BLS certification; 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or neuro; minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with rotations and on-call shifts as scheduled.
- Responsibilities: Assisting with high-volume, fast-paced interventional radiology procedures, managing patient monitoring, and supporting the use of advanced imaging and procedural equipment.
- Certifications: ARRT-R, BLS, ACLS preferred.
- Additional Information: Must be comfortable floating within scope as needed; weekends and holidays required as scheduled; compliance with vaccination policies necessary; candidates should accept assignments without interview and be prepared for schedule flexibility.
