Job Summary
CT Technologist Location: Not Specified. This position involves operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for medical diagnosis. The role requires interpreting scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, and ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained. The CT Technologist may also provide coverage in other areas within the Radiology Department.

Job Details

• Certifications/Education/Experience: Graduate from an accredited Radiology program; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registered; CT Registry; Current Nevada X-ray License; Current Basic Life Support (BLS). Experience: 2 years in Diagnostic Imaging; prior travel experience preferred.
• Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday; 6:00 a.m. 6:30 p.m.; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT certification, CT Registry, Nevada X-ray License, and BLS certification. Experience in Diagnostic Imaging with a minimum of 2 years and prior travel experience are required.
• Additional Information: CT Technologists utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images, interpret instructions, administer contrast, prepare and operate equipment, and perform quality control. They must apply radiation safety standards and may provide coverage for other areas within the Radiology Department. All travel submissions must have at least 2 years of experience with prior travel experience; local candidates will not be accepted.
