Description

Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, children, and adults, across multiple units. The role requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to hospital protocols.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Valid state license; certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS; at least 2 years of experience as a respiratory therapist; minimum of 1 year experience with adult critical care; experience with charting systems (Epic); recent work in a community hospital setting preferred.
Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 11/16/2026 and ending on 02/15/2027.
Provide patient care for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults, including ventilator management, airway management, and pulmonary hygiene.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting ventilation alarms, administering aerosol therapy, and assisting with high-risk procedures.
Will participate in on-site orientation with 24 hours allocated.
Candidate must include responses regarding prior work at a Providence facility, references covering 1 year within the last 3 years, and be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
