Description

Job Summary

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist specializing in cardiac catheterization procedures is needed for a day-shift assignment. The role supports adult and geriatric patients through diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, equipment preparation, sterile technique, hemodynamic monitoring, and related procedural support.

Job Details

Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 a.m.5:30 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week. Weekend coverage is required, including one full weekend; during months with five weekends, the fifth weekend will be split. Holiday coverage is required. On-call coverage is required 911 days per month.
Start Date: 11/16/2026
Assignment End Date: 02/15/2027
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered Radiologist (ARRT R), and Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI RCIS) certifications; required travel experience; experience with Epic charting; required influenza vaccination with no exemptions.
Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience; ability to float to interventional radiology.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasty, stent placement, permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion, left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions, intra-aortic balloon pump placement and removal, pulmonary artery line insertion, vascular closure systems, accurate monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, equipment setup and maintenance, inventory management, room circulation, scrubbing, sterile field maintenance, access-site preparation, and use of rapid response and code teams. The assignment accepts first-time travelers and includes an orientation.
