Job Summary

CT Technologist CT. The CT Technologist performs computed tomography studies with and without contrast in emergency and inpatient settings within an acute care environment. The role includes intravenous starts, participation in weekend and holiday rotations, and occasional call coverage.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); Certified CT Technologist ARRT (CT) verification; Texas MRT license; minimum of 2 years of experience; ability to perform emergency and inpatient CT studies and start intravenous lines.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., working a 7-on/7-off rotation, Thursday through Wednesday, with a minimum of 48 hours per week and possible call coverage.
• Additional Information: CT studies include examinations with and without contrast, with an average of 1624 scans per day. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, holidays are covered on a rotating basis, and call coverage is approximately every sixth week with a 30-minute response time. The role may include precepting as needed and requires wearing black scrubs.
