Job Summary

CT Technologist This position performs prescribed computed tomography procedures in accordance with department policies, procedures, and protocols while ensuring optimal patient care. Responsibilities include patient and family education, producing high-quality images, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting equipment quality control, and promoting safe, efficient clinical operations.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved and accredited Radiologic Technology program; national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB (CNMT)); state licensure in Arizona, Wyoming, or Nevada, including Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and computed tomography licensure before hire; computed tomography advanced certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(CT)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB (CT)) within 18 months of hire; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; two years of clinical experience; effective communication and human relations skills; ability to analyze data and solve problems.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience.
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The regular schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Weekend, on-call, and holiday coverage may be required. Religious exemptions related to COVID-19 are not permitted. The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and stretching; the ability to assist patients with ambulation and transfers; adherence to standard precautions; effective communication; and occasional computer use.
