Description

Shift: Variable Shift Work Experience: Two (2) years of radiology experience as a registered technologist

Performs CT exams and procedures for NICU, CCU, ED and other hospital departments as requested by the medical staff.
Assists the Radiologist and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
Performs ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.
Completes documentation, in designated area, of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
Retrieves written orders and related health information to ensure the timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.
Participates in the implementation, monitoring and improvement of the quality indicators as described in the strategic plan.
Works independently in a highly complex, acute care inpatient setting.

Education: Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent License: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R.T.(R) & advanced registry in CT, R.T.(CT) Certifications:
BLS/CPR Certification.
