Description
Required Qualifications:
1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
License, Certification, Registration
Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
BLS/ACLS (AHA)
Schedule Notes: Must have travel experience. Must have step down experience. This is a med/surg unit. Will not accept OR candidates. Must have acute care surgical floor experience. ENT and/or Transplant Experience Preferred • Nurses for this unit need Med Surg experience as this floor has inpatients pre or post-surgical services-mostly surgical experience is needed. • 4E candidates will care for patients post operatively and need to have experiences taking care of patients with new drains, wounds, trachs, ostomies, NGT or DHT. Some of these patients will be Step down care as well. Ratios are 5 or 6:1 for surgical patients and 3 or 4:1 for SD area.
