Description
Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -1 year of experience. -Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures. -Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. -Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees. -Good verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. -Some computer skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A null
Education: Required Education: -Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Preferred Education: -Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred. Required Certifications & Licensure: -Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). -Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -N/A null
Schedule Notes: Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required. Charge expereince is a HUGE plus. Should be familiar with Central line care and management, foley care and management, end of life care and management. In relation to the nephrology portion, they should know how to care for a dialysis site properly (for example, not using an HD cath or attempting to access a fistula for blood draws)
