Description
Skills: Required Skills & Experience: -One year of experience. -Knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures. -Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. -Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees. -Good verbal and written communication skills. -Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. -Some computer skills. Preferred Skills & Experience: -N/A
Education: Required Education: -Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Preferred Education: -Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program. Required Certifications & Licensure: -Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). -Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association. -ACLS (American Heart Association). Preferred Certifications & Licensure: -N/A
Schedule Notes: "Cardiac experience is required. Stepdown/PCU experience. Need candidates familiar with chest tubes, drips + half med/surg half step down. Cardiac rehab and pre/post procedures as well as cardiac stabilizations. Located in our newer tower. Monitors in rooms. Unit is a mixed Cardiovascular floor with 24 beds-12 Step-Down and 12 Med-Surg. Must have Cardiac unit with step down experience. May be asked to interpret EKG, monitor Rhythms and rates, as well collaborate with Cardiac rehab, education, and discharge planning. "
