Duties:

The Radiologic Tech I Urgent Care, works under the supervision of the Urgent Care Supervisor or Area Manager with oversight by the Solano Diagnostics Imaging Leadership. Performs general radiographic studies to established QA criteria. Produces radiographs and organizes images, completes required paperwork and charges. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Assists with clerical and other duties as assigned. Reports all equipment malfunctions. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use. During times that radiologic studies are not being specifically performed, moves to staffing as a Patient Services Representative for all duties until which time another study presents. Performs general front office duties of moderate scope and complexity including reception, registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification and medical records management functions

Education:

1.Education: Graduate of an JRCERT approved radiology course.
2.Licensure: California Certified Radiologic technologist (CRT) required, ARRT required. Current AHA or equivalent healthcare provider BLS Certification required.
3.Experience: New graduate eligible but prefer one year of experience in general radiology.
4.Skills: Basic clerical and computer experience.
