Description

Shift: 8 Hour Days; no weekends or holidays

Work Experience:

The Physical Therapist (PT) is a professional who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
The PT is ultimately responsible for implementing and documentation of interventions, outcomes, discharge plans and patient/family/care giver education.
He/she collaborates with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team to provide continuity of care.
The Physical Therapist is responsible for the supervision of and delegation of tasks to appropriate individuals including Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), technicians, students, and other customers of the organizations.
The PT must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care and is accountable to the policies and procedures of the organization.
He/she reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services

Education: Graduate of a professional physical therapist education program accredited by the Commission of Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). Bachelor’s Degree - Required

License: Current Physical Therapist license from the State of Nebraska

Certifications:
BLS/CPR Certification. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) obtained within six full months from date of hire (only for staff scheduled in Home Health and Hospice)
