Description
Job Title: PT (Physical Therapist)
City/State: Bakersfield, California
Shift: 8H Days Days, EOW, first to float, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 07/02/2026
Job Description:
The Physical Therapist will provide therapy services to patients in an acute inpatient setting. The role involves treating general medical and deconditioned patients, as well as those recovering from TKA, THA, spinal surgeries, and other orthopedic conditions such as CVA. The therapist will work predominantly in medical/surgical, ICU, and ER areas.
Responsibilities:
- Treat approximately 12 patients per day in the acute inpatient setting.
- Cover medical/surgical, ICU, and ER areas as needed.
- Occasional work one day a week from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
- Work one weekend every third weekend, with the preceding Monday and following Friday off.
Requirements:
- BLS certification is required.
- Possession of a valid California PT license.
- Experience in acute inpatient PT is required.
