Job Title: Surg Tech - Pediatric Cardiac OR
City/State: Tacoma, Washington
Shift: 12H Days, 07:00:00-19:00:00
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Start Date: 06/15/2026
Job Description:
The Surg Tech in Pediatric Cardiac OR is responsible for providing support and assistance to the surgeon during pediatric cardiovascular operations, primarily in a 1st scrub role.
Responsibilities:
- Handing supplies to the surgeon and counting instruments
- Occasionally performing 2nd scrub duties, including counts and assisting with the back table
- Floating to General OR to assist with cases when CVOR is not busy
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of Pediatric CVOR experience in a 1st scrub role
- Required licensure/certifications: CST, BLS, WA State License
- Proficient with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC
- On-call availability with a 30-minute response time
