Job Description:

The Operating Room Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the operating room, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing leadership in trauma and surgical care settings.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage OR team, ensuring adherence to Current AORN Guidelines and evidence-based practices.
• Focus on regulatory preparedness for TJC and DOH surveys.
• Oversee project roll-outs and maintain sustained compliance.
• Manage staff within a collective bargaining department.
• Utilize UKG/Kronos/Workday for staff scheduling.
• Serve as a call resource for troubleshooting, with no weekend or holiday work required.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in OR with strong leadership skills.
• Experience as an OR leader and in trauma settings.
• Prefer CNOR certification.
• Strong understanding of KPIs such as turnaround times and first case on-time starts.
• Ability to provide direct patient care in the OR.
• HRO training is preferred.
