Job Description:
This position involves working as a CT Tech/Rad Tech in a multimodality role at the Murrells Inlet Free-Standing ED. The role is responsible for conducting routine CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures in a small emergency department setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures.
- Handle an average of 10-20 CT/rad exams per shift.
- Utilize GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, and GE portable x-ray equipment.
- Document procedures using the Meditech system.
- Participate in 2 call shifts per month.
Requirements:
- ARRT Rad Tech Certification
- SCQRSA Certification (SC Rad Tech license)
- CT certification preferred; CT experience and knowledge required
- BLS
- Proficient in both CT and Diagnostic radiology
