Description

Job Title: PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant)

City/State: Santa Maria, California

Shift: 8 hour days, 08:00:00-16:00:00, every 3rd weekend, flexible, majority M-F

Contract Length: 91 weeks

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our home-based rehab team, covering a designated geographical region. The PTA will work closely with other therapy staff and participate in the treatment of a variety of patients including those with orthopedic, stroke, joint, and spinal injury conditions.

Responsibilities:

Assist in providing physical therapy treatments to patients following the therapy plan developed by physical therapists.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation utilizing the Cerner EMR system.
Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care in a post-acute setting.

Requirements:

Active PTA License.
BLS Certification.
Experience with Oasis (government-mandated form) is mandatory.
Minimum of one year experience in PT/OT/SP is required.
Home care experience preferred but not required.
