Job Title: Registered Nurse - Pediatric Cath Lab
City/State: Tacoma, Washington
Shift: 10 Hour Days, 07:00 to 17:00
Contract Length: 89 weeks

Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Cath Lab is responsible for providing nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role requires expertise in circulatory and patient monitoring, with sedation needs provided by Anesthesia.
Responsibilities:
- Care for pediatric patients with congenital heart conditions including LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, and congenital structure stenting/ballooning.
- Support pediatric electrophysiology procedures such as pacemaker implants and generator exchanges, loop recorder implants/removals, and electrophysiology studies with radiofrequency ablations.
- Serve as a circulator and monitor patient conditions during procedures.
- Participate in call rotations, including 1-2 weekends per month and 7 call shifts in a 2-week pay period.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a pediatric cath lab.
- Valid WA state or compact nursing license.
- Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
- Proficiency in using PICOM and Merge Hemodynamic systems; experience with Siemens Artis C-arm preferred.
- Experience with EPIC Cupid EMR preferred.
