Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for Progressive Care Unit. Responsible for providing high-quality care to patients within the unit.

Responsibilities:

Managing and administering cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips.
Performing procedures such as peritoneal dialysis, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and chest tube insertions.
Interpreting EKG rhythms and providing post-cardiac cath care.
Performing central line dressing changes and troubleshooting wound vacs.

Requirements:

Valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
Proficiency in critical thinking skills and EKG rhythm interpretation.
Experience with bipaps, high flow O2, and various oxygen delivery systems.
Preferred experience with peritoneal dialysis, tube feedings, and NG/dobhoff tubes.
