Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) is responsible for providing specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac surgeries. This role requires extensive experience in scrub and circulating duties within a level 1 trauma center.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scrub duties and circulate on cardiac surgeries.
- Maintain sterile techniques and ensure a safe operating environment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver optimal patient care.
- Participate in call rotation, including holidays and weekends.
Requirements:
- KS RN License
- BLS Certification
- 2 years of CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma center
- Strong recent scrub experience on cardiac surgeries
