Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Telemetry is responsible for providing care and monitoring for patients requiring cardiac monitoring. The nurse will utilize advanced skills in identifying and interpreting cardiac rhythms while supporting patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and other vital signs in patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Administer medications and perform other nursing procedures according to the care plan.
• Assist in the education of patients and their families regarding medical conditions and care requirements.
• Float to like units as needed for coverage and support.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred in a telemetry setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory with a passing EKG test.
• Ability to work every other weekend and as needed on holidays.
