Job Description:

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The technologist will perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. Proficiency in routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures, is expected.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, and portable radiographic procedures.
• Conduct C-arm procedures and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures.
• Handle CT system processing and surgical/sterile procedure knowledge.

Requirements:

• ARRT certification.
• BLSTMB Radiologic Technologist license.
• 2 years of CT experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with Canon/Toshiba CT systems.
• Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.
