Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Med Surg
City/State: Prescott, Arizona
Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00, every other weekend, nights, first to float
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description:
The Registered Nurse will work on the Telemetry- WC-Surgical/Neuro unit on the 4th Floor with a focus on medical and surgical patients. Responsibilities include patient care for COVID, respiratory, gastrointestinal, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and orthopedic, spinal surgical patients. The unit has 48 beds across two units with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret tele strips and sign at least once a shift
- Provide care for patients requiring Bipap, Cpap, high flow, and other breathing treatments
- Float to East Campus or PCU if qualified
- Participate in self-scheduling with a 4-week schedule period
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Experience with reading basic tele strips and general and orthopedic surgical patients
- Ability to interpret telemetry readings
- Recommended Cerner charting experience
