Job Description:
The registered nurse will primarily support the ED-HOLD FLOATING unit and may assist other units as necessary. The position involves working within a fast-paced environment and requires flexibility and resourcefulness.
Responsibilities:
- Transport patients throughout the hospital including all inpatient units, ED, CT, MRI, Nuc Med, PACU, and Cath Lab
- Provide assistance in the ED Holds Area as needed
Requirements:
- 2 years of PCU experience
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
- Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, lumbar drains, traches, and IV med titration
- Good communication and patient teaching/education skills
