Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit is responsible for providing comprehensive cardiovascular care in a med/surg setting, primarily at a cardiovascular facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care on a cardiovascular med/surg unit.
• Administer appropriate medications and treatments.
• Monitor and interpret EKG readings as required.
• Float to various units as needed while maintaining a full patient ratio.

Requirements:

• Must possess a current BLS certification and a passing EKG test score of 80% or higher.
• 2+ years of experience in a cardiovascular setting preferred.
• Availability for every other weekend as needed.
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation required.
