Job Description:
The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency in diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Performance of basic radiographic procedures
- Fluoroscopy and portable radiographic procedures
- C-arm procedures and OR imaging services
- Routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures
- Processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media
Requirements:
- AZ License
- BLS Certification
- 2+ years of experience
- Graduation from an accredited AMA school
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
