Job Title

Registered Nurse Telemetry

Shift: 8 hour evenings, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, every other weekend rotation, holiday requirement

Job Description:

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit, working in a holding area in the ER. Patients will be moving to the Med-Surg and Telemetry floors. The facility focuses on cardiovascular care and frequently admits elderly patients with critical care needs and medical challenges.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess telemetry patients.
Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
Coordinate and communicate with other healthcare team members for patient care.
Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical records system.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry.
Illinois RN License.
Certification in CPR, ACLS, and BLS.
Experience with Epic systems.
Must pass an EKG test.
