Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit setting.
• Manage patients with BiPAP, chest tubes, and PICC lines.
• Perform lab draws and manage care without additional vascular access support.
• Call own consults and conduct own codes.
• Manage patients post-open-heart surgery in Day 2 or Day 3 with pacer wires.
• Float to ICU, Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED as required.

Requirements:

• 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience.
• KS RN or Compact RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, & NIH certifications.
• Comfortable working without a vascular access team.
• Willing to work every other weekend.
