Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit is responsible for providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record patient vitals and assess patient conditions.
• Administer medications and perform therapeutic procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Float to Stepdown/PCU unit as required.

Requirements:

• 2 years of ICU RN experience required.
• Experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center preferred.
• Experience with CTS and Neuro patients preferred.
• Valid RN license; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Must be nicotine-free.
