Job Description:
The role involves working in the 3rd Neuro Med/Surg unit with responsibilities in providing attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members. Scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week, including two weekends per four-week schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Providing bedside shift reports and making personal connections with patients.
- Including patients and family members in their plan of care.
- Floating as per contract labor rotation.
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- Med/Surg experience with the ability to prioritize care and multitask.
- Skills in starting IVs, basic wound care, and maintaining surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
