Job Title: Surgical Tech, Allied, Cardiovascular Technologist (CVOR Tech)
City/State: Bismarck, North Dakota
Shift: 8H Days days+call
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:
The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVOR Tech) will be responsible for assisting in surgical procedures focusing on thoracic and vascular cases. The role requires willingness to cross-train and float as needed, and participation in call schedules is mandatory. Provided scrub uniforms are required, with orientation offered to ensure familiarity with department operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with open heart and vascular surgeries such as CABG and valve procedures
- Prepare for surgical procedures and ensure necessary equipment is available
- Cross-train into general OR specialties when required
- Participate in a rotating call schedule, including weeknights and weekends
- Float as a 1:1 sitter to supplement hours during low case volumes
Requirements:
- 2 years of CVOR experience, with the ability to first scrub
- Current BLS Certification
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NCCT certification
- Possession of a North Dakota UAP
- Willingness to cross-train and cover shifts as a 1:1 sitter
