Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), Labor/Delivery (L&D)

City/State: Folsom, California

Shift: 12H Nights, EOW, First to Float

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 07/07/2026

Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Labor/Delivery unit will provide care for patients in a Family Birthing Center with responsibilities including labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn stabilization. The unit includes 7 LDRP beds, 4-8 overflow postpartum beds, and 1 OR suite for C-sections. Nurses must be comfortable with NRP at delivery.

Responsibilities:

Provide care in accordance with AWHONN guidelines.
Titrate medications such as pitocin and insulin.
Coordinate with OB/Neonatologists and Anesthesia services.
Utilize GE fetal monitors and manage RT equipment as needed.

Requirements:

Valid RN license and submission capability.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience; preference for 3 years.
Experience with OR circulating duties.
