Description

Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse), ICU

City/State: Chandler, Arizona

Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 07/27/2026

Job Description:

This position requires a full 3 years of recent ICU experience. Experience must include either neuro or cardiovascular areas. The RN will work in a surgical ICU focused on trauma neuro surgery and will be the first to float, possibly to a sister facility. Responsibilities include interpreting own telemetry strips and managing a variety of drips. Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer titratable drips such as propofol and vasopressin.
  • Interpret telemetry strips independently.
  • Participate in trauma and neuro specialty care.
  • Float to different ICUs as needed based on unit demand.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience, including neuro or cardiovascular experience.
  • Completion of UNA Dysrhythmia Exam within 24-48 hours prior to acceptance.
  • Pass a Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation.
  • ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Ability to interpret and respond to telemetry monitoring without tech support.
