Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Telemetry will provide specialized care for patients with cardiac monitoring needs, particularly in the stroke and neuro department. This role requires expertise in continuous monitoring and prompt intervention in case of any abnormal changes in heart rhythms or vital signs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms on telemetry units.
• Respond swiftly to any changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and interventions based on medical staff directives.
• Float as needed to like units, based on staffing requirements.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as needed.

Requirements:

• 2 Years of Stroke/Neuro experience required.
• License/Certification: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and passing EKG test (all must be presented at time of submittal).
• Flexibility to meet floating and weekend requirements.
