Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist - Days
City/State: Bangor, Maine
Shift: Day Shift, 07:00:00-19:00:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 07/20/2026
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanner which produces several cross-sectional scans and combines them into one to form a 3-dimensional image for Radiologists viewing.
- Consistently obtain high quality imaging for Radiologist interpretation.
- General understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communication System) and its function.
- Responsible for maintaining safety for anyone within the MRI zones.
- Documents patient care services in hospital records.
- Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured.
- Courteous interaction with co-workers/peers.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate's Degree Required
- Licensure(s): ARRT certified Radiography & State of Maine Radiography
- Certification(s): ARRT MRI certified preferred
- Registration(s): ARRT Radiography
