Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU is responsible for providing total care to ICU patients, including managing ventilators, titratable drips, and hygiene care. The nurse will float to ER and Med Surg departments and is expected to utilize skills in patient care and emergency response.
Responsibilities:
- Provide total care to ICU patients.
- Float to ER and Med Surg, assisting with non-assignment tasks or taking a full assignment in Med Surg.
Requirements:
- 2+ years ICU experience.
- Experience with BLS, ACLS; TNCC preferred.
- Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, and mixing medications preferred.
