Job Title: RN / Operating Room Circulator

City/State: Statesboro, Georgia

Shift: 3x12hr Days 7a - 7:30p OR 5x8hr Days 7a - 3:30p, call required on 1-2 nights per week, 1st and 2nd, plus 1 weekend every 6 weeks

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring supplies and timeliness of cases.
• Communication with families and updating physician preference cards.
• Scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases.
• Supervision of personnel delivering patient care.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of OR RN experience required.
• Experience in Robotics, Ortho, General, and OBGYN required.
