Job Title

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

City/State: Bozeman, Montana

Shift: Variable Shift Monday-Friday, 4x10 Flex, 07:00:00-17:00:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Start Date: 07/08/2026

Job Description:

Performs general nuclear medicine examinations, including on-call services, therapeutic procedures, and PET/CT patient exams in a hospital-based, acute care environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs nuclear medicine quality control measures, patient exams, and procedures as requested by the medical staff.
  • Assists the Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
  • Performs ancillary duties to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.
  • Completes documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
  • Verifies written/electronic orders and related health information for timely performance and reporting of NM exams and procedures.
  • Participates in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of hospital quality indicators.
  • Completes appropriate documentation for radioactive materials as per state and/or federal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited program or equivalent.
  • ARRT certification in nuclear medicine or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB).
  • American Heart Association BLS.
  • Preferred: One (1) year post-graduate work experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
