Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU
City/State: Rapid City, South Dakota
Shift: 12 Hour Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:
The role involves providing care to complex ICU patients, including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases. The nurse will be working in a 39-bed mixed unit ICU, divided into pods, with responsibilities including managing patients with diagnoses such as ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, and multiple system trauma.
Responsibilities:
- Manage ICU patients with various complex conditions.
- Administer IV medications and manage ventilators.
- Perform critical care nursing with strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience (excluding travel assignments).
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Comfortable working a 48-hour week contract.
