Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients. The role requires collaboration with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and support services in a Level 3 Trauma Center.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care utilizing established protocols and standards within the emergency department.
• Monitor patient condition, administer medications, and perform point of care testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Document patient care and respond to changes in condition.

Requirements:

• Current RN license; willingness to wait for licensure submission.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
