SMH Level 4 RN OR - 2nd Floor Ophthalmology

Job Description:

Using a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff cares for patients of all ages in both scrub and circulating roles for ophthalmology operating room.

Responsibilities:

Scrubbing and circulating in an ophthalmology operating room.
Providing care for patients requiring eye surgery including cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics.

Requirements:

RN License (NY state license ONLY)
Two (2) years operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
Able to scrub and circulate
Experience with cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics required
BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
ACLS (Preferred)
