Job Description:
RN for the stepdown unit in a high acuity progressive care unit.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care in a stepdown ICU environment.
- Perform telemetry and cardiac monitoring.
- Administer titratable drips and provide support to trach patients.
- Conduct physical assessments, intake, and output every 4 hours.
- Perform hourly safety rounds and manage bedside handoffs.
Requirements:
- 1 year of step-down ICU/IMC/PCU experience required.
- 1 year of telemetry/cardiac monitoring experience required.
- AK RN license required at the time of submission; temporary licensing not accepted.
- ACLS, BLS, NIH-SS certifications required.
