Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) for a 13-week contract opportunity. The position requires availability for night shifts from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
Location
This position is located in the vicinity of a facility in Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in the NICU.
- Assess and monitor patients, ensuring optimal respiratory function.
- Administer therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care management and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a NICU setting.
- Current Georgia Respiratory Therapist License.
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
