Job Description:
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room responsible for providing direct patient care and managing the nursing care plan. The nurse adheres to the facility policies and procedures while ensuring high-quality care for all patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide conscious sedation and participate in intubations.
- Monitor patients under behavioral health watch and manage sepsis cases.
- Administer Tpa for stroke patients and respond to chest pain (heart alerts).
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2+ years of ER experience.
- Active TX RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
- Certifications required: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and NIHSS.
- Document patient care using Meditech system. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
