Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse) - ER

Job Description:
The RN in the Emergency Room is responsible for providing direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position requires working 12-hour night shifts and every third weekend, alternating between Friday and Saturday nights and Saturday and Sunday days, following a self-scheduling model.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients of all ages in the emergency room setting.
- Collaborate with EMTs, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Perform assessments and develop care plans for patients presenting with a variety of diagnoses.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system to document patient care accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Current RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Pass a pass/fail open book exam on skills learned during orientation with a 90% score.
- No artificial nails; adherence to unit's fingernail policy is mandatory.
