Registered Nurse (RN) / Labor & Delivery

Job Description:
The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Providing care during pregnancy over 20 weeks, labor, and antepartum
- Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegating patient care priorities based on education and experience of staff
- Providing supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
- Ability to float to postpartum or nursery
