Shift: 12 Hour Variable, 3x12 Flex, 07:00:00-19:00:00
Contract Length: 19.7 weeks

Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed for the Emergency Room in a facility with a daily patient volume of 150-180. The main Emergency Department comprises 33 beds, focused on trauma/resuscitation and behavioral health. This role excludes first-time travelers and requires living more than 100 miles from any Monument facility.
Responsibilities:
- Triage patients and determine care priorities using ESI assessments
- Provide care for multiple patient types, including trauma, sepsis, DKA, and cardiac patients
- Participate in evidence collection for sexual assault cases
- Float to Med/Surg, PCU, or ICU as a task nurse
- Possibility of precepting nursing students
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience excluding travel assignments
- Current RN license with the South Dakota Board of Nursing
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS
- Proficient in EPIC charting system
