Job Description:

Labor and Delivery Nurse responsible for providing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit. The role involves working in a unit with 14 labor beds, 2 operating rooms, 6 recovery bays, and 8 antepartum beds, alongside a team comprising charge nurses, RNs, and CSTs.

Responsibilities:

Provide care for laboring patients with a ratio of 1:2.
Manage antepartum patients with a ratio of 1:4.
Assist in vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other procedures.
Administer and manage medications such as Magnesium and Pitocin drips.

Requirements:

NRP certification
Experience in labor management
BLS certification
Intermittent EFM
