Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides care for level II maternity patients, including monitoring EFM tracings, performing SVEs, starting IVs, and managing Magnesium Sulfate.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor EFM tracings using Fetalink system.
• Perform and interpret EFM, SVEs, IV starts.
• Manage titratable drips, including Pitocin.
• Coordinate with OB Techs and front desk scheduler.
• Provide on-call coverage as per schedule requirements.

Requirements:

• BLS and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• Minimum experience with EFM interpretation, SVEs, and IV starts.
• Competency in managing Magnesium Sulfate and titrating drips.
• Successful completion of sterile technique test for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes on orientation.
