Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient procedural area specializing in cardiovascular prep and recovery. This position requires a dedicated professional to admit patients for catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures, monitor vital signs post-moderate sedation, and manage access sites.
Shift Details
- 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Admit patients for catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, obtaining comprehensive patient histories.
- Start IVs and monitor vital signs as needed.
- Recover patients post-moderate sedation, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Assess and monitor access sites, including groin and wrist access points, holding pressure on any bleeding post-cath and EP lab access sites.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Experience with telemetry and managing access sites required.
- Strong assessment and monitoring skills.
